DATE:
Saturday, July 11, 2009
from 10:00am-6:00 pm

Set up may begin at 7:00am and all vehicles must be off the street by 9:30 am.

LOCATION:
The 100 and 200 blocks of S. Cedar street in Downtown Manistique, Michigan.
There will be no rain site, come prepared for all weather. Wind can be a factor.

DISPLAY:
Artists shall limit their display to the size of a parallel parking space, approximately 20 feet by10 feet. Spaces are pre-assigned by the show committee and you will be notified of your acceptance as a participant and provided a map.

ELIGIBILITY:
All work must be crafted by the applying artist. NO COMMERCIALLY PRODUCED ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The show committee reserves the right to reject any items that it deems unacceptable the day of the show. No private raffles will be allowed.

ENTRY:
Participation is on a first come first serve basis. Return post mark will determine order of entries. Fill out the attached entry form and return it as soon as possible along with your $40 fee (made out to: Folkfest 2009) and a self addressed stamped envelope for your acceptance or rejection notification. Notification will be mailed out no later than May 12, 2009 . Fee will be returned in the event of rejection. No refunds will be granted to accepted artists who cancel.

LIABILITY:
Completion and submission of the attached application indicates your understanding and agreement that the Folkfest Committee assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to any work or display or personal property.

SALES:
All sales to be transacted by the artist. All proceeds go to the artist. Each artist is responsible for the collection of 6% Michigan sales tax. Payments made directly to the government authorities.
