DATE:
Saturday, July 10 & 11, 2009
from 10:00am-6:00 pm.
You may also sell Friday night during the Street Dance if you
would like. Please make sure you have enough food to last the entire
day. Breakdown may not take place before 6:00 pm on Saturday.
Set up on Saturday begins at 7:00am and all vehicles must be off the
street by 9:30 am. Set up on Friday can start at approximately 4:00pm
after the City blocks off the street.
LOCATION:
The 200 block of S. Cedar street in Downtown Manistique, Michigan.
There will be no rain site, come prepared for all weather. Wind can
be a factor.
REQUIREMENTS:
A food license must be obtained from the Schoolcraft County
Health Department and all State and local regulations must be met. A
representative from the Health dept. will do an onsite inspection. License
fees are the responsibility of the food vendor.
If you have a commercial food license you still need to submit required
paperwork to the Health department.
BOOTH FEE:
The fee for non-profit organizations and non-commercial vendors
is $40.00. Non-profit groups that participate the day of Folk Fest will
be refunded their booth fee.
Commercial vendors fee is $50. Booth fee is required with application.
